The uniform lock - general information and check of serviceability of functioning

Models without remote control

Operation of individual activators of the lock of each of car doors is the basis for functioning of system. The system consists of switches of management, door activators and a connecting electrical wiring. Problem diagnostics of the lock is limited to checks of a condition of contact connections of an electric chain and serviceability of operation of door activators.

Functioning of the uniform lock happens due to operation of the bidirectional electromagnets located in the doorway of the car. The switch of management has two provisions: Are LOCK and OPENLY. On later models completed with a remote control door activators also the module of management providing giving of tension on activators of locks on command from the DU panel is provided. At activation the switch sends a grounding signal to the control unit of door locks therefore there is the corresponding switching of activators. Depending on a starting position of the switch at its switching the control unit simply changes polarity of the current given on electromagnets. On models without DU panel switches influence activators directly.

If it is not possible to find a cause of failure of system during the listed below checks, drive away the car for fuller diagnostics on car repair shop.

First of all always check a condition of protection of a contour. On the considered models protection of a contour is provided with the safety locks 6 and 13 placed in the assembly block located on the right under the dashboard and a safety lock 9 in the left assembly block.

Popereklyuchayte switches of management in both directions at the killed engine. Listen to the clicks accompanying operation of the relay.

In the absence of clicks, check serviceability of giving of tension for switches. If tension is absent, check a condition of an electrical wiring on a chain site between the assembly block and the corresponding switch.

If tension takes place, however click is not audible, check conductivity of the switch in both provisions. Defective switches are subject to replacement.

If the switch as it should be, check conductivity of an electrical wiring on a chain site between the switch, and an electromagnet of the corresponding activator. Execute repair of the damaged conducting.

At refusal of only one of activators remove the panel of an internal upholstery from the corresponding door (see the Head Kuzov) and check serviceability of giving of tension for an executive electromagnet, switching the switch of management. One of wires has to be powered in one of provisions of the switch, the second - in other.

At correct giving of tension replace an electromagnet.

Most often break of a wire happens on a site between a door and the body panel.

Models with a remote control

In these models the DU panel develops a long-wave signal in the infrared range of frequencies which is perceived and identified by the module of management of system. On a signal from the panel the module develops command for operation of activators of door locks.

Replacement of batteries of the DU panel has to be made when at a nazhimaniye on the button of management the light-emitting diode which is built in assembly in the panel case ceases to light up.

Division of the case of the panel into two half is made by a poddevaniye of a small screw-driver.

As the replaceable it is necessary to use a lithium CR 2025 battery.
