1. The PCV system provides a conclusion of karterny gases via the special valve on a hose back in the inlet pipeline, from where they come to combustion chambers and are burned out during normal functioning of the engine. The system consists the hose going from a cover of a head of cylinders to the inlet pipeline and a hose of supply of the fresh air laid between the air cleaner and a cover of GRM.
2. The PCV valve with the hose connected to it is put in a cover of a head of cylinders.

3. At working at single turns, the engine, heated-up up to the normal working temperature, pull the valve and take it together with the connected hose of a cover of a head of cylinders.

4. Press a finger to an opening in the PCV valve or a hose - depression has to be felt, otherwise make sure of passability of a hose, the union on the inlet pipeline and actually the valve. Replace defective components.

5. Kill the engine and shake the PCV valve, - it has to rattle slightly, otherwise make replacement.
6. For replacement of the PCV valve disconnect it from a vacuum hose, having remembered the direction of landing.
7. Upon purchase of the new valve track that it answered on the standard size to the engine of your car. It will be most correct to compare directly the new valve with removed from the engine.
8. Connect the replaceable PCV valve to a vacuum hose, having tracked reliability of joining.
9. Check a condition of hoses and rubber plugs through passage. Replace defective components.
10. Densely put the valve on the regular place. More detailed information on functioning of PCV system is provided in the Head Engine management of the present manual.
