System of ignition - the general information
The programmable system of ignition (PGM-IG) on the basis of the microprocessor provides continuous optimization of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition depending on turns of the engine, temperature of cooling liquid, the provision of a butterfly valve and depth of depression in the inlet pipeline. All necessary data arrive on the module of management of the onboard processor (RSM) from the corresponding information sensors, such as the sensor of provision of a cranked shaft / VMT (TDC/CKP), the sensor of position of pistons (CYP), the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS), the electronic sensor of temperature of cooling liquid (eats) also the sensor of absolute pressure in the pipeline (MAR). At an engine warming up, its work on single turns and under loading various installations of a corner of an advancing of ignition are used. The corresponding adjustments are carried out by PGM-IG system. Also the ignition switch/lock, the battery, the ignition coil, the distributor, the module of management of ignition (ICM), a set of candles and VV of wires on 4-cylinder models are a part of system of ignition the coil of ignition is built in the distributor whereas on the V6 models it is established outside, in the neighbourhood with the last. The ignition distributor on all models is put in action from a camshaft. Correction of an advancing of ignition is carried out by the electronic module of management of functioning of the engine (RSM). All models are equipped with the sensor of provision of a cranked shaft (SKR) which is installed under the lower cover of a gas-distributing belt, near a cogwheel of a cranked shaft. The BMT (TDC) sensor on 4-cylinder models fastens near the SKR sensor (opposite to it); on the V6 models two TDC sensors are provided: No. 1 and No. 2 established behind cogwheels of camshafts from a forward end face of heads of cylinders. The sensor of position of pistons (CYP) on 4-cylinder models and model of management of ignition on all models are built in in the distributor.
