Check of serviceability of a state and replacement of the sensor switch of pressure in system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel (PSP)

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The PSP sensor switch is switched on in the hydraulic line of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel on a site between the steering pump and a case of rack transfer. At strong turns of a steering wheel (for example during a parking or at abrupt turns) pressure considerably increases in system of hydrostrengthening also the PSP sensor switch, becoming isolated, informs on it the RSM module which as appropriate lifts idling turns, compensating the increasing load of the engine. At violations of functioning of the sensor switch the system of self-diagnostics of OBD brings the corresponding code of malfunction in memory of the processor.
2. If the engine becomes deaf at commission of maneuvers during a car parking, check serviceability of functioning of the PSP sensor switch. Malfunction of the sensor switch can lead as well to continuous excess of single turns of the engine.
3. Identification of plugs of the socket of the PSP sensor switch can be made according to schemes of electric connections.

4. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor switch and connect an ohmmeter to plugs on the sensor case.

5. Start the engine on single turns.
6. Bring lobbies of wheels of the car into rectilinear situation and consider the indication of an ohmmeter which in this case has to equal infinity.
7. Rotating a steering wheel in any direction, watch indications of the measuring instrument. At approach of a steering wheel to any of extreme provisions the PSP sensor switch has to become isolated that is confirmed by the zero indication of an ohmmeter.
8. At negative results of check replace the sensor switch. If the sensor switch is serviceable, it is necessary to check settings of single turns of the engine.

REPLACEMENT

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

The negative wire always has to be disconnected first of all and be connected in the last. If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for introduction of the equipment to action!

3. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor switch and turn out the last from the nipple connection.
4. Establish to the place of the failed sensor switch replaceable and lower the car on the earth.
5. Remove from a hydraulic path of system of the steering amplifier air traffic jams (see the Head Podvesk and a steering). In case of need correct the level of hydraulic liquid (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
