Check of serviceability of a state and replacement of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS)
CHECK
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. TPS fastens on the case of a throttle and is connected to an axis of a butterfly valve. On the basis of the analysis of the signals of RSM arriving from TPS defines the exact current position of the gate caused by extent of squeezing by the driver of a pedal of gas. The sensor exit out of operation can lead to uncontrollable emissions by injectors of fuel and to violation of stability of turns of the engine. At identification of malfunctions of TPS in memory of system of self-diagnostics the P0122 or P0123 code is brought (see the Section System of Onboard Diagnostics (OBD) - the principle of functioning and codes of malfunctions).
2. By means of the voltmeter measure the basic tension given on the sensor from RSM. Disconnect a plait of an electrical wiring from the sensor and connect voltmeter probes to REF plugs (+) and GND (-) of the socket. At the included ignition (do not start the engine) the device has to register about 5.0 V. Otsutstviye of tension testifies to break in a chain of RSM or failure actually of the module.
3. Now check the alarm tension of the sensor. At the killed engine and completely closed butterfly valve connect the voltmeter between SIG plugs (+) and GND (-) of the TPS socket.
For connection of the voltmeter to the back party of plugs I will corrode conveniently to use the unbent metal office paper clip. Gradually open the gate, watching indications of the voltmeter. At the blocked throttle the size of alarm tension has to make 0.5 ÷ 1.5 In and, gradually, increasing, to reach value 4.5 B at full opening of the gate, otherwise replace TPS.
