Check of serviceability of a state and replacement of the sensor of position of pistons (CYP)

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The CYP sensor serves for definition of the current position of pistons. Information issued to them is used when determining sequence of injection of fuel. The sensor is built in assembly of the distributor of ignition, its refusal leads to record in memory of system of self-diagnostics of codes of malfunction of P1381 and P1382.

2. For check of serviceability of functioning of the CYP sensor disunite a plait of an electrical wiring of the distributor and by means of an ohmmeter measure resistance between contact plugs 3 and 4. Compare result of measurement to requirements of Specifications.

3. Make sure of lack of conductivity between each of plugs and a workshop of car service.
4. In case of negative results of the described check replace the distributor (see the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine).

REPLACEMENT

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

The CYP sensor is built in assembly of the distributor of ignition and its replacements in an individual order is not provided. In case of a sensor exit out of operation replace the distributor (see the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine).
