Honda Accord

1. Prop up antiretractable boots forward wheels, weaken nuts of fastening of back wheels, then a back of the car and establish to a poddomkratta it on props.
2. On the models equipped with drum brake mechanisms of back wheels remove the brake drum(s) (see the Section Replacement of Boots of Drum Brake Mechanisms of Back Wheels).

3. Weaken an adjusting nut on assembly of the equalizer (see the Section Adjustment of the Parking Brake). Disconnect a cable from the equalizer and remove intermediate clamps from a cable cover.

4. On models with drum brake mechanisms of back wheels remove shoe assembly (see the Section Replacement of Boots of Drum Brake Mechanisms of Back Wheels) and disconnect a driving cable of the parking brake from the executive lever on a back boot. Wring out lock uvulas on the holder of a cover of a cable and by means of nippers or a special key on 12 mm release a cable from a board of the brake mechanism.

In the absence of near at hand special key it is possible to use a small screw clamp.

5. On models with disk brake mechanisms of back wheels for a cable detachment from the executive lever it is necessary to remove a clip and to take a pin of fixing of a cutting finger (see the Section Replacement of Boots of Drum Brake Mechanisms of Back Wheels). The cover of a cable is in addition fixed in an arm by a spring clamp.
6 Otboltite arms of intermediate clamps of fastening of a cable to the car bottom. Remove a cable, remembering a route of its laying.

Perhaps, it is also necessary to turn out bolts of fastening of the back thermofilter of system of production of the fulfilled gases.

7. In case of need remove the second driving cable, working in a similar manner.
8. Installation is made upside-down. Do not forget to execute adjustment of the drive parking a brake.
