1. Check a condition of all terminal connections of the corresponding electric chain. Make sure of completeness of a charge of the battery. Check a safety lock No. 56 in the assembly block of safety locks/relay located in a motive compartment, and also a safety lock No. 3 in the assembly block located at the left under the dashboard. 2. Find the heater fan drive electric motor relay in the assembly block in a motive compartment of the car. Take this relay and check serviceability of its functioning (see the Head Onboard electric equipment). Replace the faulty relay. 3. Transfer transmission to situation "P", cock the parking brake and turn the ignition key in the situation ON, without starting the engine.

4. Assembly of the fan of a heater is located under the car dashboard, behind a ware box, near a partition of a motive compartment. |
5. Transfer the handle of management of the direction of air supply to control panels functioning of a heater in the situation FLOOR (FLOOR), install the handle of a choice of the high-speed mode of functioning of the fan in situation 4. try to define aurally, whether air supply on air ducts is carried out. If air moves, transfer the handle of the high-speed modes to situation 1 and again listen. Repeat check in each of provisions of the handle.

6. If the fan does not function, and all safety locks and the relay are checked and are in good repair, it is necessary to pass to check actually of an electric motor. Find the electric socket from the back party of ventilatory assembly and the sharp probe of the voltmeter probe the plug of a yellow-black wire at the included ignition. On this plug voltage at least 10 V at any of provisions of the switch of the high-speed modes has to take place, except the situation OFF (Vykl), otherwise damage of a chain on a site between the assembly block of safety locks and the control panel by functioning of the heater/conditioner of air, or between the control panel and an electric motor takes place. |
7. If tension on feeding food is present, however the fan does not function, close the plug of a blue-red wire on the mass of the chassis (use a wire crossing point with the sharp probe). If the fan when grounding the plug does not work, replace an electric motor of its drive, otherwise it is necessary to check a condition of a chain on a site between the switch of a choice of the high-speed modes and resistor assembly.

8. If the fan works only in some of the high-speed modes, check its resistor. Resistor assembly is fixed on a fan casing under the dashboard on the right. On a payment three resistors providing possibility of functioning of the fan in three lower various high-speed modes are placed, at turning on of the fan on the maximum speed (situation 4) current is passed devices round of resistors. 9. Remove resistor assembly and visually estimate a condition of its elements (elements should not be melted off). Measure resistance between plugs 1 and 5 of the contact socket. if the result of measurement exceeds the limit of the range of 5 ÷ 3.5 Ohms, replace assembly. |
10. If resistor assembly as it should be, however the fan still functions not at all speeds, it is necessary to address to Section materials Onboard electric equipment and to remove the control panel functioning of the heater/conditioner of air. Disconnect the electrical wiring socket from the back party of the switch of a choice of the high-speed modes of the fan and check distribution of existence of provodimost between contact plugs in various provisions of the switch. The faulty switch is subject to replacement.

11. Check a condition of the relay of the fan of a heater in the assembly block in a motive compartment of the car. Take the relay from the nest and make check of serviceability of its functioning (see the Head Onboard electric equipment). Probe the voltmeter contact plugs in a nest of the assembly block: on the plug 4 tension of the battery has to be present constantly, on the plug 1, - only at the included ignition. The plug 2 has to be constantly grounded on weight. |
