Replacement of brake shoes of disk brake mechanisms
|

Replacement of brake shoes has to be made at the same time on both forward/back brake mechanisms. Remember that the dust developed in the course of operation of brake mechanisms may contain extremely unhealthy the person asbestos. Do not blow off dust compressed air at all and do not inhale it, - at service of mechanisms put on a protective mask or a respirator. Do not use for rubbing of components of brake system gasoline or solvents on an oil basis at all, - apply only firm cleaners or methyl alcohol!
Procedure equally belongs to disk brake mechanisms of both forward, and back wheels. |

1. Uncover the tank of brake fluid.
2. Weaken nuts of fastening of the corresponding wheels. A car front/back also establish to Poddomkratta it on props.
3. Remove forward/back wheels.
|
|
Replacement of all four blocks of brake mechanisms of both wheels of one axis has to be made at the same time. In order to avoid confusion work with each mechanism in an individual order. |
4. Attentively examine a brake disk (see the Section Check of a State, removal and installation of a brake disk). In case of need performance of a pro-point, remove a disk. |

Brake mechanisms of forward wheels

1. By means of a clamp drown the piston in the support cylinder, having provided thereby necessary free space for installation of the new blocks having big thickness. At a piston utaplivaniye in a support liquid level in the GTTs tank will rise, - watch that it did not start overflowing, in case of need pump out surplus. |

|
2. Before starting dismantle of components surely wash them a special cleaner. Further act according to the instructions given on illustrations below. |

|
Brake mechanisms of back wheels
|
|
|
|
1. Wash out assemblies of brake mechanisms by the special cleaning structure. Further act according to the instructions given on illustrations below, then pass to performance of the procedure described below in paragraph 1. |
|
|
2. Cover the back party of new blocks with special antivizgovy structure. The instruction on use of means is printed usually out on a barrel wall. |
3. Establish adjusting laying on the blocks.
4. Establish holders of blocks in an anchor bracket of a support. Grease holders of blocks with a thin layer of high-temperature greasing.
5. Establish new brake shoes with adjusting laying in an anchor bracket of a support.

6. By means of nippers turn the piston, having drowned it in the support cylinder for the purpose of providing necessary free space under installation of new brake shoes. |
|
|
7. At first drown the piston to the bottom of the cylinder, then turn out it back so that at installation of an internal block the ledge on its back party got to one of selections on a face surface of the piston. Track that as a result of rotation of the piston its boot was not deformed. |

|
Brake mechanisms of lobbies and back wheels
|
|
|
1. Establish to the place of a wheel, lower the car on the earth and tighten nuts of fastening of wheels with the demanded effort (see Specifications to the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
2. Several times squeeze out a brake pedal / cock the lever of the parking brake (if changed back blocks) for the purpose of shrinkage of blocks on a disk.
3. Check the level of brake fluid, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance). Before starting normal operation of the car, make sure of serviceability of functioning of brake system. |
