Removal, check of a state and installation of the oil pump

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Take off a gas-distributing belt and a belt of the drive of balancing shaft (see the Sections Removal, check of a state and installation of cogwheels and a belt of the drive of balancing shaft and Removal, check of a state and installation of a gas-distributing belt and cogwheels of the GRM drive). Remove a cogwheel of a forward balancing shaft and assembly of a casing of a gear wheel of a back balancing shaft. Disconnect a CKP/BMT sensor electrical wiring from the main braid. Turn out four fixing bolts and remove the sensor from the case of the oil pump.
2. Remove the engine case pallet (see the Section Removal and installation of the pallet of a case of the engine).

3. Disconnect assembly of a maslozabornik with the mesh filter and a tube from the bridge of covers of radical bearings and a pump housing.

4. Turn out fixing bolts and remove the oil pump from the engine.

5. Turn out fixing screws and uncover with the pump.

Not to break a vent in heads of fixing screws it is better to make their easing by means of an impact driver.

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Measure the size of working gaps of gear wheels of the pump. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications. If the size of gaps goes beyond admissible values, replace the pump.

2. Turn out a stopper of the reducing valve and take from a nest in a pump housing a valvate spring and a plunger. Check a spring for existence of deformations, and a plunger - for existence of scratches and zadir. Defective components are subject to replacement.
3. Establish gear wheels in a pump housing and fill cavities between their teeths technical vaseline (as initial filling at primary start).
4. Grease screws of fastening of a cover of the pump with the anti-taking sealant. Establish a cover, screw screws and tighten them with the demanded effort. Establish a spring and a plunger of the reducing valve in a pump housing. Having replaced a sealing washer, screw a stopper and strongly tighten it.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Slightly grease with RTV sealant the pump housing surface interfaced to the block. Make sure available on the place of the directing pin and install the pump, previously having replaced sealing rings. Grease with RTV sealant a carving of fixing bolts, screw them and tighten with the demanded effort.

Installation of the pump has to be made within 5 minutes after sealant imposing. Track that lysk in an internal gear wheel of the pump were combined with reciprocal lyska on a pin of a cranked shaft.

2. Establish on a back balancing shaft assembly of a cogwheel with a gear wheel casing. Afterwards establish a gas-distributing belt and a belt of the drive of balancing shaft.
3. Install into place the CKP/BMT sensor, having tightened bolts of fastening it to the pump with the demanded effort. Restore initial connection of an electrical wiring.
4. Establish into place assembly of a maslozabornik, having tightened fixing bolts with the demanded effort (do not forget to replace sealing laying).
5. Install the case pallet (see the Section Removal and installation of the pallet of a case of the engine).
6. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to a dismantle order. In summary do not forget to fill in engine oil in the engine and to fill the cooling system (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
7. Start the engine and check its existence of signs of leaks.
