7. Attentively examine both collectors and their fixture on existence of cracks and other mechanical damages, replace defective details.

1. By means of a scraper remove the remains of sealant and traces of material of old laying from the interfaced surfaces of final collectors and heads of cylinders. Wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone. If suspicions on leaks took place, check planeness of collectors, in case of need give the deformed components to a pro-point.
2. Put on new laying the fixing hairpins which are closed up in heads of cylinders.
3. Establish collectors, oil hairpins motive and screw new samokontryashchiyesya fixing nuts. Moving from the center of a collector outside, passing from one fastener to another in a diagonal order, in three stages tighten nuts with the demanded effort.

On collectors identification tags in the form of letters of "F" (forward) and "R" (back) which are not allowing to mix components are provided.

4. The remained components are established as it should be, the return to an order of their dismantle.
5. Start the engine and check it for existence of signs of leak of the fulfilled gases through joints of final collectors with heads of cylinders and reception pipes of system of release.
