Repair and operation of the car

Removal and installation of overlays of forward and back bumpers

The models of cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS). Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid receiving injuries at its casual operation (see the Head Onboard electric equipment). It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation.

Front bumper

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Cock the parking brake, the car and establish to a poddomkratta it on props.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery and wait not less than two minutes before starting dismantle of a slip.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

3. Under the car turn out screws of fastening of bottom edges of an overlay of a bumper.

For a poddevaniye of the central sections of plastic clamps use a small screw-driver (do not try to take completely the central sections, - they remain in a clamp).

4. Give screws of fastening of the upper edge of a slip to a cowl lock latch support. Remove a slip from the car.

5. Installation is made upside-down. Before rolling carving fixture make sure of reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of plastic clamps. In case of need use the help of the assistant.

Rear bumper

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. In case of need a car back also establish to a poddomkratta it on props.

2. Under the car take plastic clamps of fastening of bottom edge of an overlay of a rear bumper.

3. Turn out a bolt and release a clamp of fastening of each of the ends of a slip to arches of back wheels.

4. Open a trunk lid and from within a luggage compartment release clamps of fastening of the upper edge of an overlay of a bumper.

For a poddevaniye of the central sections of plastic clamps use a small screw-driver (do not try to take completely the central sections, - they remain in a clamp). Remove a slip from the car.

5. Installation is made upside-down.
