Check of serviceability of functioning and replacement of switches of the dashboard

The models of cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS). Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid receiving injuries at its casual operation (see the Section of the Safety cushion - the general information). It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation.

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For check the switch needs to be removed from the car.
2. With the help or the lamp sampler equipped with the individual power supply check existence of conductivity between switch plugs in both of its provisions. In case of need replace assembly.

 

REPLACEMENT

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Hook the switch a small screw-driver and take it from the dashboard. Disunite the electric socket.

In order to avoid damage of plastic stick an adhesive tape strip on a screw-driver sting.

2. Disconnect an electrical wiring and remove assembly of the switch.
3. Installation is made upside-down.

Switch of the alarm system

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For check release the switch from facing of assembly of panel hours.
2. Make sure of correctness of distribution of conductivity between plugs in both provisions of the switch. In case of need make assembly replacement.

 

REPLACEMENT

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Having accurately hooked, take assembly of panel hours with the casing from the central section of the dashboard.

2. Disunite the 10-contact socket from the back party of the switch. Wring out a lock uvula and release assembly of the switch from the panel of facing of hours.
Switch of activation of heating of back glass

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The switch drives in structure of assembly of the control panel functioning of the heater/conditioner of air. The description of procedures of removal and installation of assembly is provided in the Head of the Cooling system, heating.

2. Give to drink the help of an ohmmeter or the lamp sampler equipped with the independent power supply check existence of conductivity between B4 and B9 plugs of the 22-contact socket of the control panel. Conductivity has to take place only at inclusion of heating and glass (the button of the switch is drowned). In case of need replace the switch.

REPLACEMENT

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn out fastening screws among themselves of forward and back sections of the control panel. In the course of removal of the forward panel hold it a front surface up.

Before starting dismantling of the control panel prepare the replaceable switch which, perhaps, should be ordered at firm car repair shop.

2. Remove the old switch and establish on its place new, then joint among themselves and squeeze hands forward and back sections of the control panel functioning of the heater/conditioner of air. Screw and tighten fixing screws.
3. Establish assembly of the control panel on the regular place (see the Head of the Cooling system, heating).
